Longmont Front Range Film Festival

April 29, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

LFRFFLogoOn Arbor Day, Friday April 29, the Longmont Front Range Film Festival will show five short films that focus on issues and calls to action for saving our most valuable resource — our planet.

Among the films being shown is Trees in Trouble, a documentary sharing how the efforts of everyday citizens are helping save America’s urban and community forests from invasive insects. City of Longmont Forester, Ken Wicklund, and City of Boulder Forester, Kathleen Alexander, will be on hand after the film to discuss how invasive insects affect our own communities and what actions we can take.

The other films being shown include: Resilient St. Vrain: Restoring & Revitalizing Our Creek, Moving Giants, Crying Earth Rise Up, and Spring Time at Owl Tree.
